Again, water is supplemental to gasoline and diesel. However it is possible and EASY to extract energy from water to run your car on water too. I have been a master auto tech for 15 years and I myself have used some of this information to increase my mpg. I installed a fuel preheater on my 91 daytona and after test results, I gained over 4 mpg. I have completed construction of an HHO cell and will be adding this to my car as well. I also recommend that you check out halo spark plugs. Just google or even youtube halo spark plugs. Granted there isnt much we can do about gas prices. But we can be sure that every drop of it we buy benefits us.
**Update** How to find stainless steel for electrodes around the house!
Hi people, some great items around the house to get stainless steel from is say if you have some old kitchen appliances that just give up the ghost on you like stainless steel toasters or toaster ovens. Just take them apart until you get the stainless steel casings from them and voila. You have materials for your electrodes that you can cut to your liking (be careful when cutting, sand and file SHARP edges). I also trashed an old dishwasher that had stainless rails in it that I cut to 4″ pieces and work well as electrodes. Good Luck.
**UPDATE** I have now installed my HHO generator on my Daytona. I will post any results as I achieve them. I have already noticed a difference in performance.
**Update** 5/16/08…Am still fine tuning my HHO system..BUT..Currently using my fuel preheater and HHO system I boosted my mpg from 23 mpg to close to 32 mpg. Thats approx 40% boost. There’s also a noticable boost in power. HHO might be considered “Poor boys NOS” in my opinion. And the unmodified mpg was on the money due to finding a picture on the internet of the window sticker of my car showing 23 mpg hwy and 19 mpg city. My tank is a 15 gal tank. So if you do the math, 23mpg x 15 = 345 miles on a tank. NOW 32 mpg x 15 = 480 miles on a tank. So 480 tank - 345 tank = 135 hwy miles extra per tank. Impressive! I want better results so Im still working on it…Stay Tuned to HydroTuner for future alerts. Good luck!
