yues. but only for about a month or less.

right now, NOTHING works on water (cars and vehicles i mean)

but an electric scooter can be hydro powred. but that is pretty much it.

dont buy in to it. its a BIG scam

it is called a ferry right i have used them to go from muskegon mi to milwakuee wi saved lots of gas and time

Did you know that inside the engine, a complicated chemical reaction occurs with the fuel and air? look at it this way:
IN- HC(hydro carbons, the fuel itself)
    IN-AIR( contains 21% oxigen, 78% nitrogen 1% trace eliments)
OUT- Nitrogen (It’s inert, so it bacily passes through the engine unless the tempurture exceeds 2500 degrees F, then small amounts bond to oxygen and creat NOx)
    OUT- Carbon dioxide
OUT- Carbon monoxide (If there is not enough oxygen to make a complete burn)
OUT- what about the hydrogen that went in? It combines with oxygen and you get H2O (WATER)

How do you run a car on water when it produces it?

  4. blauenlanze Says:

No, the chemistry does not work out. If you have a gasoline car it goes like gasoline + oxygen –> carbon dioxide + water. This releases a lot of energy. Now if you want to go BACKWARDS it will TAKE a lot of energy, not release it.

Same thing for hydrogen. If you burn hydrogen in air, you get pure water and energy. If you want to go backwards, you need energy. (I’m ignoring the effects of entropy and Gibbs in tihs case but that’s to keep this simple). Fuels are there because they can be burned to produce energy, but water is not a fuel because you can’t do that.

  5. Craigory Says:

Yes, the chemistry does not work out. The water may alter the combustion process (because of cooling), but makes it no more efficient overall.

The scam they get you to buy into is that you can release hydrogen from water, using your battery. Your engine then burns that hydrogen, and Voila! - extra gas mileage.

What they don’t tell you is that the amount of burnable hydrogen released is less than the energy required from your battery to make it happen. SO IT IS OF NO BENEFIT AT ALL, because your engine has to work harder to charge the battery, and you actually lose in the end. Maybe higher horsepower when that hydrogen is in there, but gas mileage is no better.

Why is this a scam? Simple physics! This device turns your electric energy into a chemical energy (split water into H2 and O) that can be used in an ICE while turning H2 and O into H2O (water) again. Nice! The problem is: it takes more energy to split water into H2 and O then you can get out of it. Actually the energy is EXACTLY the same, but using an internal combustion engine you have losses - tremendous losses, actually - at least 2/3 of your input energy. There is a much more efficient device to turn electricity into mechanical movement. It’s called electric motor and has efficiencies up to 95%! But then the scam would be too obvious!

All you chemistry brainiacs try to resolve the question if this works or not. All I know is that when me and my brother tried doing this, we got so much energy that he burned all of his facial hair off.

This stuff works, my brother installed it in his van.

I recommend doing this to an older car since new ones have the electronix to prevent you from saving on gas.
Just go on youtube and see others how to do it, and I would also recommend to have someone who knows a little about where stuff is under the hood.
